Bread Bhurji a healthy and very Quick break fast

                                          Bread Bhurji 

Bread Bhurji is my favorite morning breakfast. This is good for people of all ages because it is very easy to make, healthy and the most important reason for me specially very quick to cook. The main objective of my blog is to not only provide and spread information about healthy Indian recipes but also the most importantly they should be prepared quickly so that even a novice person can cook it at their home and can be prepared when he or she is in hurry to ready for office or going out. 

I've tried Bread Bhurji several times at my home because the ingredients are easily aavailable and it is very quick to cook. This is the reason I've included this recipe in my blog. 

No let's a quick view how to make Bread Bhurji at home:

Preparation Time: 5 min (maximum)
Cooking Time:  10 min (maximum)

Ingredients

- 8 to 10 slices of whole wheat bread and cut it into cubes or small pieces. 
- One cup curd. 
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
- 1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
- 1 green chilli, cut it into small pieces or in long shapes as per your taste and like.
- 1 tsp grated ginger (adrak)
- 1/4 cup onions, sliced
- 1 tsp oil
- Roasted peanuts (optional)
- Salt as per taste. 
- half glass water or two tablespoons of water to mix the ingredients. 

Method of Cooking:

1. In a bowl, mix curds, turmeric powder and salt with 2 tablespoons of water. Mix well the mixture.

2. Now, add the bread cubes and mix well so that the bread would coated with the curd mixture completely.

3. Now, heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds to crackle. 

4. Now, add green chillies, ginger paste and roasted peanuts and sauté for a few seconds.

5. Add the onion slices and fry them till it turns light brown.

6. Now, its time to add the bread mixture and sauté over low heat, stirring occasionally till the bread browns lightly.

7.  Once the bread turns light brown, it is ready to serve hot.
Garnished with the coriander.
